The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is a global sexual and reproductive health (SRH) service provider and is a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. IPPF is a global movement of more than 120 national organizations, referred to as Member Associations (Mas), working with and for communities and individuals, especially the vulnerable and marginalised. 

IPPF-ESEAOR is the regional expression of the Federation in East, Southeast Asia and Oceania Region.  It has a regional headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and a sub-regional office in Suva, Fiji, to cater to the Pacific MAs.

In November 2022, IPPF held its General Assembly in Bogota, Colombia where all Members Associations adopted a new Strategy, entitled: Come Together – Strategy 2028.

The new Strategy calls for major changes to make IPPF well-equipped to uphold SRHR.  The Strategy further commits IPPF to shaping laws, policies, and norms through feminist action and international solidarity; and to nurturing the federation, addressing shortcomings and adding new impetus for real and lasting impact.

In alignment with the new strategy, IPPF-ESEAOR is seeking an individual to fill the position of “Regional MA Support & Development Director” to lead the integrated support, growth and development of Member Associations (MAs) and Collaborative Partners (CPs) in the region and collaborate pro-actively with other Regions and Global functions to leverage Federation wide impact.

Reporting to the Regional Director, the position holder will bring together all MA-facing work within the Region to ensure optimal support and services. He/She will work as part of the Regional Senior Leadership Team to promote, develop and grow the work of the Federation and be part of the Global Secretariat team and the Global Membership Support & Development Community of Practice to deliver the global agenda.
